New guy here....I've had an et2 for several months now. I always wanted a vespa, so now I have one. I replaced the belt and drove the thing for about 10 miles and it ran great. All at once it quit, just died. I got it started, and it ran for a few hundred yards and quit again....now that is all it will do, run a little bit, then act as if it starves out. Cant see anything obciously wrong with the belt installment. What am I missing?
I would check your airbox, to see if it's attached to the carb....It sounds like a fuel/air issue, and when you took off your varator cover, you have to take off your air filter cover, and you might have knocked off your air box from the carb....
So everything on the carb is connected....but when I disonnect the gas line from the tank no gas runs out. Is there a diaphragm in the tap thingie? I don't think I'm getting gas to the carb. I do have spark...I'm baffled here.
