On the one occasion I have left my bike outside when it was cold, one of the headlights had condensation in it the next morning. It was just the bottom couple of inches, the other one was fine.

As it`s a new machine I rang the dealers service guy who said they were designed with a drain hole and because of this it was OK.

I had assumed it was a sealed unit and therefore should not have happened.

Is it something that needs dealing with, or is he correct?

Thanks

Steve

It evaporates PDQ when you ride. Nothing to worry about.

Have you removed your lights recently, or maybe your dealer possibly screwed up?

Speaking from a MP3/250 or MP3/400 perspective...
I am not sure if the MP3/500 is the same?
There are two rubber covers that snap over to cover the bulbs in the rear of the assembly.
They are easy to forget to put back on, and if it rains...
You will sure get water in your lights and possibly pop some bulbs.
