bloody thing comes on way early.....


tank holds just under 11 litres?

warning light comes on when there is about 4.5 left as i can only get about 6 in when it comes on.....


how do i fix this?

That's about normal. You can happily ride another 30 miles when the light comes on - it's useful to have it come on at about 1/3 of a tank left for areas where fuel supply is sparse. Now SE England isn't one of those of course, there's petrol every mile or so, which means you can ride on a lot further after the light comes on.

It isn't faulty, just a 'feature'.

Actually, I think the stated fuel tank capacity is 9.2 litres, which makes it about 3 litres left when your light comes on (if you add 6 litres to fill) - which as Jim says, is about 1/3 of a tank.

Yes, there are a few 'features', but still better than riding a 'plastic'
