Modern Vespa

My new bike I just got. I don't know much about it. It is a 50cc big wheel Italian scooter.

I had one and LOVED it!!

That's a pre-diTech Aprilia Scarabeo 50. They're a bit tricky to get important parts for these days. But if you put a Top Performances kit and a LeoVince on that puppy, change the roller weights to slightly lighter ones, and make sure it's got a good belt.... you'll hit 67 on it.

And yes, even with that case on the back. That's the exact one I had, although a different color.

Damn, I miss that bike. We had some super great adventures.

The one beside it looks good too. is that the p200e? i'm considering a px 150 2011. one of the italian built units left at the old dealer before a new dealer takes over with vietnam assembled vespas.

I love the whole line - even the ones from the early 2000's. There is a 150 at Moto International that is tempting me with it's 150cc 16hp Rotax engine...
