I picked up a BMW 650 GT last week. Thoroughly enjoying bike. I'm on this site 'cause also own a 2009 Vespa GTS.

For those who recently picked up the 650 - do you have any pictures of accessories? How top case fits? Also can't get a handle on where the nav is best positioned.

Love to hear from you. Or maybe you know of some links to web-sites w good photos.

Tx so much.

Nothing yet, the only accessories I got so far were the cargo compartment separator and the USB power adapter! But I will post pics promptly when the top case, rack, nav, and drop protection bumpers get installed, hopefully in a week or so.

Thanks so much. Looking forward to see those pictures.

How does the cargo compartment separator work? Will I still be able to put a full face helmet in the lower section?

They attach 4 little tabs that work like buttons to the compartment, two through the bottom and two to the frame bars on top, and when you want to use it, you just button it on. I can take photos over the weekend and post them if you like. And yes, you can still fit a helmet in the lower compartment, it doesn't get in the way at all, and in fact this would prevent other things from rolling forward and banging into the helmet if you were riding around with a spare in there.

Might be worth keeping an eye on http://www.webbikeworld.com/bmw-c-650-gt/blog.htm - the webBikeWorld editor has acquired a GT and is busy playing with it!
