Heh. I just realized after how many years? that the turkey logo is a mod roundel. Awesome.

There are already WAAAAYYYY too many Christmas lights up in my neck of the woods. And I live in an apartment complex. The first building on our private road currently looks like Santa's elves live there in the off-season.

I absolutely love Christmas, don't get me wrong! But seriously, I can wait a a day or two, personally.

Seattle seems to go a bit crazy with the lights probably due to the fact it gets dark at 3pm during this part of the year. Some people just leave them up 6 months out of the year.

Sadly yes. Officially, sunset is 4:24 today. If there are no clouds, it will stay light until then. If there are the usual heavy clouds, it will be dark an up to an hour earlier.

Not quite Alaska but noticeable and sucky when you go to work in the dark... and go home in the dark. Hence the lights - people will get quite elaborate to spice up the neighborhood. And why you might see a lot of us over there right about now
