Does anybody know the exact details about the IOW scooter rally 2013? I haven't been before, so I don't know how it actually functions.

Can anybody tell me the exact details please?

Have a word with the lads at Scooter Shack down in the old town (Hastings) they'll know whats going on. 8)

The IOW scooter rally always falls on the August bank holiday weekend at the end of august, and for 2013 bank holiday is Monday the 26th.

So it will be Friday 23rd to Monday 26th, this aint 100% but as that is the bank holiday weekend and it's always on the bank holiday weekend i'd say 99.9% it will be them dates.

One of the main things about IOW Josh is its the biggest event of its type (up to 5000 riders) in the Uk now, so much so that there are 'rallies within the the rally' just to find enough venues, campsites etc to house the hoardes who arrive.

I obviously wouldn't discourage you from going but I would say go to a smaller one first so you can see what goes on if you haven't been to a rally before? There are plenty before August so lots of choice.

Hook up with a local club or two if you're new to club riding, and watch a few videos on YouTube too (IOW rally 2012 etc) to get a preview.
