What is the diameter of the pole holding piece? This will tell whether it will be Lambretta or Vespa related. Otherwise it is just an old tool for who knows what.

Judging from the foundry markings, I'd say it's a cheese holder for a WWII german rocket.

I agree with the "Bolts to bench. Red lever locks angle of ball joint." Hence my earlier post suggesting workshop engine jig. The long side of the swingarm leg of a Vespa engine fits in the split clamp.

It is an original vespa engine rebuild bench stand!
