Just had a very blustery ride home along the A102 and the A2. Had to fight with the scoot all the way! So glad to get back safely!

I've just done a short buzz down the A12 and was getting knocked from lane to lane still easier than walking down the road though.

I am only 2 weeks since started riding. Think passed my first weather test with torrential rain and strong wind
For me wind was more of the problem than rain. Still got all wet though |

Left her in garage yesterday....
Didn't fancy the A3 in that wind and dark coming home... Fine in town but big stretches are WIDE OPEN... Add dark and everyone doing 90+ and its a little hairy... |

I made a few unscheduled detours towards the kerb on my way to and from karate last night! Glad I've got an enclosed yard to park in these days, so less chance of the bike blowing over in the night.

I used to be terrified of wind on the scooter, but now it doesn't seem to faze me at all. I think it's perhaps because I no longer hold the bars in a death grip. The last time I had a problem was crossing the Millau Viaduct on a windy day because of the on/off nature of the wind due to the bridge supports and my terror of heights.

Glad you made it home alright and be careful. I don't mind wind i hate our high gusty coming from all sides wind. When it get past 30mph i especially don't like it and i don't go out much above that.

Should be sunny tomorrow for me, so off riding for the first time for ages (and errands at elder son's).
