Symptons

Sccoter started misfiring, loosing power then picking up power and would not idle,was like riding a bucking bronco

Now it just turns over without firing, until battery is flat.

Actions Already taken

Removed carb and checked jets ( done by somebody who knows these things on bikes but not scooters.) but sail always okay.

He suggested as the bike loses power, could be fuel starvation.

Checked fuel hose and was a bit old so replaced.

Looked at HT lead and seems okay, still trying to work out how to get to spark plug as doesn't seem an easy task (guidance required). Sprayed coil and lead with damp start just in case.

Now in unknown territory

what to do next please.

must be the starter motor i think as i can't use the kick start

checked everything as far as i can tell, just turns over and does not fire
