Hi Folks,

I wrote an Apple iBook about scooters.
It is only viewable on an iPad.
My goal in writing it was to learn how to use the features of an iBook.
I had a lot of fun writing it.
However, there's no way I could sell it as it breaks all kinds of copyright laws.

The book describes mostly the utilitarian aspects of scooters and the problems they were designed to overcome.

So for those of you with iPads and the interest to give this a look here's a link to download it.

I'm puzzled as to why any sort of ebook would be >600 MBs...
and the scooterrific dot net site has a odd javascript slideshow...

/don't own any apple products, and don't have time to go diving into JS looking for stuff, so can't make any judgments --

iBooks are interactive, multimedia text books.
iBooks or something like them will be the future of academic text books.
This book has a lot of video and pictures, hence the 650MB file size.
So it's a lot more than a pdf file.
However, it can only be used on an iPad.

my world is pretty much windows at home and linux at work --I leave apple stuff to the mobile apps team, I'm not very clueful there.
