I was given a broken 2009 LX 150. I can get her to idle but that's it. I sent away for the standard tune up kit thinking that was the cause being so new. Same problems No power, No headlight No gas gauge, No fuel pump. What is the likely cause? I volt metered and got zilch at these points but I still have running lights, brake lights, signals, dash lights. Regulator/Rectifier? Alternator? Help me please, I used to think I knew what I was doing.

...a bump to get you back on the front page for someone smarter than I to reply...

A stupid guess for part of it: maybe a blown fuse or two affecting what isn't working? Check the manuals in the wiki section for extra ideas too...

Also, I've never heard of the 'standard tune up kit' - could you elaborate?

Best of luck getting it up and running,

Desi B.

Nope no mechanics here. Razz emoticon

It does sound like a blown fuse or two. Maybe one of the real mechanics will chime in.
