Modern Vespa

With little time to ride and youngest getting reay for college, its with a heavy heart that I have to put my 09' MP3 500 up for sale. Just picked it up this
summer from another who had same lack of time issues. I'm going to put it up with the MV "discount" price of $5,200.
If no sale it will go back up in spring a a much higher cost (as its worth it). Will be putting "ad" in For Sale section, but since this is the MP3 section makes sense to let you know what's up. Note, this is the one I lowered (comes lowered & also w/stock shock bracket for you "amzons"). Under 1,300 miles w/give windshield & top box, what more could you want Just hope someone gets to enjoy it like I did. PM me if interested.

$5.2 is a pretty good price. For some reason the E & W coast prices are "much" higher, but I think I'll get a fair deal either from the
good old boys/gals of the Midwest or from a "coaster"
Time will tell, its not like its life or death to sell it, having
sold a bike or two I usually price them to go in good time:
issue this time is time of year, but that's where the Xmas price
comes in

FYI, have some items from my MP3 (still for sale) that some of you may
be interested in in the For Sale sectin of MV. They include:
hugger fender (new), Madstad RoboBrackets & plate plus a great
windshield (might be better than GIVI-& I've had both).

Interesting... the windshield itself is not from Madstad?

Is it acrylic or polycarbonate? Any other detail would be great.

Windshield is not a Madstad, size is 20" above headlight and 36" wide.
In my opinion this shield functions better, had similar one on my cycle & the width does wonders for the hands in the cold.
This shield & Madstad set-up doesn't come w/the MP3 500 I'm selling.
The scoot comes w/the GIVI shield. I'm selling the windshield on another post in the For Sale section (along w/the Madstad set-up seperately or together).

That's clear... but what is the brand/model of the windshield you sell with the madstad brackets?

As I said, I would like to know if it's made of polycarbonate or not.

Don't your handlebars bump into the hand wind deflector section? That's the thing I've always been worried about with fender-mounted screens that cover the hands...

They only "bump" into the deflectors when I'm off bike and moving it around & maxing out the range of the handlebars. Note, I've "pushed" out the hand deflectors also w/longer spacers/bolts-so that's really the reason for any type of "bump". The bump though doesn't happen when riding, never get to the max range of the handlebars

exactly. if someone is bumping it while riding they are in a world of shit at that point in time and that would be the last thing to worry about.

Most someone is going to see/feel the handlebars deflect while riding at speed is an inch MAYBE 2 at slower speeds. Parking lot turns under 5 mph possibly.

I thought it was obvious I meant when you're not under power. I'm aware the handlebars don't really turn when you're moving. Unless you're on a tow-pac'd MP3...
