Not overly fond of the top case look on either the BV or the P200.But with a top case combined with the Trepp rollup bags, I barely ride without them. A weeks worth of groceries on either bike, a place to lock my helmet, jacket and other gear as well as the gas saved from leaving the trucks home makes the look well worth it. I can't count how many times the purists I've ridden with have asked me to carry/lock something on my scoot.
I have had my top box off the past week, and have decided I am just being stupid. I know what my scooter looks like without the box, and I have many photos of it without the box.
If I was going to a sooter rally it might be different, but not having the box is such a nuisance whenever I go anywhwere, and want to take someting, or have a dry place to lock my helmet away or to put the shopping.
The Piaggio topbox matches the shape of the scooter, and the Admore LED kit is an added safety feature. On the GT200 rack the box is a bit lower than on a GTS carrier, more behind the saddle than above it, and looks much better that way.
I never would have bought one and only have one because my second hand LXV was equipped with it when I took ownership. Happy to report that I store my full face helmet in the topbox. The helmet will not fit under the seat. So, we make compromises. The fact that it's easily removable makes it a very nice accessory.
Just got the Emgo case for my LXV 150. It's has a bit of a utilitarian look which I prefer over the spaceship aesthetic of many of the trunks out there. This case fits my Shoei modular beautifully.
I just incorporated reflective stickers which really light things up at night...
