I just got a new 300GTS Super and have tricked it out with lots of accessories. Now I want to add mirrors and I'm looking at the 24 inch stem that fits on the front rack but I'm worried that I won't be able to squeeze through grid-locked traffic like I do now. I commute 30 freeway miles through downtown Los Angeles and squeezing through saves me an hour in grid-locked traffic - I'd hate to loose that because my mirrors stick to far out to squeeze between cars.
Anyone have these mirror stems installed that drive the freeways?
