On my LX 150 there appears to be too little spark at the spark plug as I have removed the plug and tested visually to examine. What could cause this? I have a brand new battery, the motor cranks over but no ignition.
I need your help with this..

Thank you,

Could be a couple of things:

1- new battery could be DOA. Can you confirm it's fully charged?

2- spark plug wire might not be solidly connected to cap

3- HT lead (aka, "spark plug wire") or coil could be bad. Fortunately, on the LX they're sold as 1 unit and aren't terribly expensive.
