Modern Vespa

I was in Hanoi a couple of weeks ago and came across this dentist.

This kind of appealed to me on a few different levels, so gave a go.

Anyway, $10 for a scale n' polish - top job too!!

My best friend is a Dental Assistant, and she rides her 250GTS to work almost every day.

She is also is a member of the National Council for the Royal Bastards Scooter Club.

Thank god I live in the USA.

Cool office. I'd check it out. Our dentist in Greece has a sail boat, so random nifty nautical knick-knacks to look at. Beats old National Geographics. Gee SF, that's either off topic or deliberately insulting. Hope you just need your morning coffee.

Mr. Gynt, having a motor vehicle in a room where medical procedures are performed might be a wondrous novelty in Viet Nam or the Democratic Republic of Congo or in a sugar cane field somewhere Guyana, but I'm not as impressed with it more than it being simple curiosity of some foreign culture I understand less and less with every picture I see.

Are all the people living in the country where that photo was taken insulted by my comment? Yeah, well they should be horrified that their dentist cares so little for their safety yet more for convenient parking for an effing scooter.

I laughed so loud at this. Yeah, I like scooters as much as the next guy, but I don't want a Lammy or Vespa in my medical office.

It would appear that the people in that country have thicker skins than those here in the USA (or at least in the northeastern states). This is to complement their, apparently, stronger immune systems to fight off the infections possibly caused by parking lawnmowers next to the dentist chair.

On the plus side, you get a free tetanus booster on every visit...

All they need now is one of these. This dentist rocked the house. err mouse!

Maybe it is how the dentist puts you out before working on those molars - 15 minutes of huffing carbon monoxide.

I don't know how to read Pirate Talk. I know you are really keen on your brogue, but the idea is to actually have people understand what you are saying. Typing in blank elipses and slang like a 13 year-old girl hanging out at a shopping center in San Jose isn't exactly the zenith of human communication.
