Are there more that the fuses under the seat and the 2 under the front cover?
I was thinking maybe there was one "Main Fuse somewhere. Vespa will not start but the 4 fuses are in tact, battery is new and fully charged, new ignition coil and spark plug. Am I doomed? Is this Vespa going to the graveyard?
Can any of you guys give me a hand?

Go to the wiki section of the forum and download the electrical wiring diagram for your scoot. It will show all the fuses. By saying won't start do you mean won't turn over? Are you getting anything to light up on the dash? Do you get a brakelight when you squeeze the levers? No brakelights means an open in the starter circuit due to bad brake switches. What about the kill switch? It would also help to know the year of your LX150 and whether or not it is fuel injected. LX150ie

No Start
Thank you for your reply. The light goes on, brake light goes on, the kill switch is in the correct position to start. 2008 LX 150. I will look at the wiring picture and see if another fuse exists.

Thank you

http://www.wotmeworry.org.uk/manuals/Vespa/LX150/LX150Workshop-searchable.pdf

Electrical info starts at page 57 I think you want to look at page 61 & 62. It shows 2 15amp fuses coming off the battery, 62 shows the starter relay. When you apply the brakes 12volts is sent to the starter switch, press the starter button and the starter relay is energized. It closes and connects the starter directly to the battery, no fuse inline. So if the brakelight works you need to look at the starter button, the starter relay, and last resort the starter itself. I would use a voltmeter and check the starter relay. See if you have power on terminal 87 when the key is on, the brakes are applied, and the starter button is pushed. If no voltage is measured, go to terminal 86 and repete. If you have 12 volts the relay is bad, if not the starter switch is bad. The other diagrams show other 15amp fuses that I think are the same ones in different diagrams. Hard to figure out just how many there are.

Scooter troubleshooting starts at page 49. Its worthless!

I had Staples print my manuals, double sided and spiral bound. Makes it easy to work on the scooter without dragging the laptop outside and running the risk of damaging it. It can be done for less than 1/2 hour of tech time at the dealer. Good luck

Starter switch
My Fly150 starter switch was dead.
I reached in behind it next to brake lever with needle nose pliers and pulled off the two connectors - sprayed with switch cleaner and scraped with screwdriver - wiggled them and replaced connectors back into place - boom - it roared into life on first push. My problem was leaving scoot in open weather causing corrosion....I now have designed small cover for back of starter switch - keeps out moisture/rain etc.
I think Fly150 has similar setup for ease of getting to back of starter switch - I hope that is your only problem
If not, I will follow thread for future information - there should be plenty of guys in here to help you

Define "won't start". Does the starter work? Does the engine turn when the starter switch is pressed?

Thank you!!
Thank you for your input. I tracked it down to the Starter Relay. It went out after I may have overcharged the battery with a battery tender.
Thanks to your input I will be on the road after the rain stops.

What can I do to help you?

Had the exact same problem caused by a battery tender failure also.
