Drvengrad (Serbian Cyrillic: Дрвенград, meaning Wooden Town, pronounced [dř̩ʋeŋɡrad]), also known as Küstendorf and Mećavnik (pronounced [mětɕaːʋniːk]), is a traditional village that the Serbian film director Emir Kusturica built for his film Life Is a Miracle. It is located in the Zlatibor District near the city of Uice, two hundred kilometers southwest of Serbia's capital, Belgrade. It is located near Mokra Gora and Viegrad, best known for Yugoslav Ivo Andrić's Nobel-winning novel, The Bridge on the Drina

Viegrad (Serbian Cyrillic: Вишеград, pronounced [ʋǐʃɛɡraːd]) is a town and municipality in eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina resting on the Drina river and in the Republika Srpska entity. The town includes the Ottoman-era Mehmed Paa Sokolović Bridge, an UNESCO world heritage site which was popularized by Nobel prize winning author Ivo Andrić in his novel The Bridge on the Drina.

The Sutjeska National Park (pronounced [sûtjɛska]) is a national park located in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Republika Srpska entity. Established in 1962, it is Bosnia and Herzegovina 's oldest national park. It includes the highest peak of Maglić at over 2,386 metres (7,828 ft), on the border with Montenegro.

The park is also famous as being the location of the Battle of the Sutjeska which lasted from 15 May to 16 June 1943 during World War II, where the Partisan were victorious over the German occupying forces in a battle. In the battle, the Partisans were led by the Supreme Headquarters of Yugoslavia by Marshal Josip Broz Tito who foiled the enemy's plans. The Partisans were successful in breaking out of the encirclement even though they lost one third of their men. Several large Partisan's Memorial stone monuments commemorate this event at the northern edge of the park at Tjentite, on the way to primeval Perucica forest reserve

Igalo (Игало) is a town next to Herceg-Novi which is accessible via the E65/E80 North headed to Dubrovnik, Croatia. According to the 2003 Census, it has a population of 3,754. Igalo and Herceg Novi are only administratively divided, as there is no clear division between the towns.
Located on the slopes of Mount Orjen, Igalo is regionally famous for the "DR Simo Miloević" Institute, a Mediterranean themed health spa which formerly attracted many tourists. Architect Aleksandar Đorđevic built this Institute. The institute is one of the unique hospitals and spas in the Balkans.

Kotor (Montenegrin: Kotor / Котор, pronounced [kɔ̌tɔr], Italian: Cattaro) is a coastal city in Montenegro. It is located in a secluded part of the Gulf of Kotor. The city has a population of 13,510 and is the administrative center of the municipality.
The old Mediterranean port of Kotor is surrounded by an impressive city wall built by the Republic of Venice and Venetian influence remains predominant in the city's architecture. The Bay of Kotor (Boka Kotorska; Bocche di Cattaro), one of the most indented parts of the Adriatic Sea. Some have called the southern-most fjord in Europe, but it is a ria, a submerged river canyon. Together with the nearly overhanging limestone cliffs of Orjen and Lovćen, Kotor and its surrounding area form an impressive and picturesque Mediterranean landscape.
In recent years, Kotor has seen a steady increase in tourists, many of them coming by cruise ship. Visitors are attracted both by the natural beauty of the Gulf of Kotor and by the old town of Kotor.
Kotor is part of the World Heritage Site dubbed the Natural and Culturo-Historical Region of Kotor.

Lovćen (Montenegrin: Lovćen, Ловћен, pronounced [lɔ̂ːʋtɕɛn]) is a mountain and national park in southwestern Montenegro.
The Mount Lovćen rises from the borders of the Adriatic basin closing the long ang twisting bays of Boka Kotorska and making the hinterland to the coastal town of Kotor. The mountain has two imposing peaks, tirovnik (1,749 m) and Jezerski vrh (1,657 m).
The mountain slopes are rocky, with numerous fissures, pits and deep depressions giving its scenery a specific look. Standing on the border between two completely different natural wholes, the sea and the mainland, Lovćen is under the influence of both climates. The specific connection of the life conditions has stipulated the development of the different biological systems. There are 1158 plant species on Lovćen, out of which four are endemic.

Podgorica (/ˈpɒdɡəriːtsə/ pod-gorr-ee-tsə;[2] Montenegrin/Serbian: Podgorica / Подгорица [pǒdgoritsa], lit. "under the small hill") is the capital and largest city of Montenegro.
Podgorica's favourable position at the confluence of the Ribnica and Morača rivers and the meeting point of the fertile Zeta Plain and Bjelopavlići Valley has encouraged settlement. The city is close to winter ski centres in the north and seaside resorts on the Adriatic Sea.

The Tara River Canyon (Bosnian: "Kanjon rijeke Tare", Serbian: "Кањон реке Таре", "Kanjon reke Tare", Montenegrin: Kanjon Tare, pronounced [kǎɲɔːn târɛː]), also known as the Tara River Gorge, is the longest canyon in Montenegro. It is 82 kilometers (50 mi) long and is 1,300 meters(4265 feet) at its deepest, making it the deepest river canyon in Europe. The canyon is protected as a part of Durmitor National Park and is a tentative UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Tara River cuts through the canyon.
The Tara River, at its end making confluence with Piva, becomes the Drina, and is some hundred and fifty kilometres long. In its passage through the Tara National Park, the river has a mean fall of 3.6 metres/kilometre, making a host of waterfalls and cascades possible, thus creating with its uniqueness The Montenegrian Colorado.

Two Thumbs Up!
Men, these are some great pics of what seems to be a fun trip. Thanks for sharing them. Maybe you can share some details of them (like locations) with us. I've never been to that part of the world and your pics help make it a "must see" destination.
