This was last night's beverage of choice.

Lagunitas Pale Ale -- I never really was into pale ale but discovered this one up in the Sonoma area.

Nor Cal knows what I'm talkin about !

What's being poured down your gullet tonight?

Had me some o' that last weekend! Good stuff...EFFed me up, though! So strong...

Tonight I'm drinking a Moscow Mule using Absolut, Fentiman's Ginger Beer, and a lime off a tree in my back yard I've been growing since early spring - Ahhh! SO Good!

I love a mule! But with whiskey.

I think that's the best stone beer I've had.

"Beer speaks, People mumble." Tony Magee was a fellow guitarcamper where I met mi esposa, La Mala Mujer. I'm still hoping to one day buy his vintage Del Vecchio guitar.

We just got back from the mountain town of San Cristobal de las Casas in the southern Mexican state of Chiapas and I have plans to experiment with some home made Michelada recipes tonight.

If you're getting into Bourbon, you might check these. Not much more money, but in my opinion, totally worth it:

Nah, the great thing about bourbon is it doesn't have to be small batch, single barrel or any such nonsense to be good. Whereas cheap scotch is undrinkable.

Don't get me wrong, there are some wonderful expensive bourbons (Elijah Craigg being one of my favorites when I can find it). But Jim Beam is just fine.

I just washed down some homemade eggnog with a Beam chaser.

That Evan Williams is $29.99 and I'd much rather drink it than Makers / Beam / Jack, etc. I've had plenty of all of them. Nerd emoticon

Fun fact: around here, PBR is known as "The People's Beer of Richmond".
It might be a large part of the reason that I haven't become a beer drinker.

Tonight I drink cran/pomegranate juice... but Fox Barrel's blackberry pear cider is in the fridge, waiting to taste delicious.
