This was last night's beverage of choice.
Lagunitas Pale Ale -- I never really was into pale ale but discovered this one up in the Sonoma area.
Nor Cal knows what I'm talkin about !
What's being poured down your gullet tonight?

We just got back from the mountain town of San Cristobal de las Casas in the southern Mexican state of Chiapas and I have plans to experiment with some home made Michelada recipes tonight. |

Nah, the great thing about bourbon is it doesn't have to be small batch, single barrel or any such nonsense to be good. Whereas cheap scotch is undrinkable.
Don't get me wrong, there are some wonderful expensive bourbons (Elijah Craigg being one of my favorites when I can find it). But Jim Beam is just fine. I just washed down some homemade eggnog with a Beam chaser. |

Tonight I drink cran/pomegranate juice... but Fox Barrel's blackberry pear cider is in the fridge, waiting to taste delicious. |
