I have a clone of their "Eureka" on tap. Not bad for 4.5%

Here is my time-off peace of mind beverage:

E&J VSOP Brandy, over ice, mixed with Diet-7up and topped with
maraschino cherries in a clear plastic thermos glass (so the ice does not melt).
Two once cordial glass of Italian Strega (the witch) liquor to sip.

Side shot glass of the same E&J to dip my Sancho Panza Double Maduro Cigar.

Takes me 10 minutes to set this - cutting the cigar, getting the cherries out
of the frigerator, pouring the dip shot glass and Strega.

After a half hour, the smoke, brandy and sipping liquor makes me feel euphoric and almost brilliant. My limit is two brandies on a work night.

Wine from a winery I used to work for called III. Their Petite Sirah, it's so jammy and delicious I thought they added sugar in it to balance out the tannic nature of the grape. Nope, it's one of the driest wines they make!

Used 5oz in the pasta sauce this morning. Having Bowtie Pasta (My kids picked it out and eat it heartily!)

Tonight I will be decanting my latest batch of compounded Pine Mountain Wild Juniper Berry Gin.

Shaken with ice and a dash of Martini and Rossi dry vermouth.

Served straight up with a couple of olives.

If available in your area, try the E&J XO in your cocktail mixture. You'll thank me later!

There are slightly better Dry Vermouth's out there. I'd do a bit of market research. It will take this Martini to an even higher level sir!
*After selling Cinzano for 6 years, I apologize. Nothing wrong at all with M&R. I've heard from a few that Nolly Pratt is "better" than M&R but it's all subjective opinion*

Also, if you want to try the original Martini recipe it was 50% Gin & 50% Sweet Vermouth. Mainly this one:

*Now THIS is seriously great stuff. I've had it substituted for other sweet vermouth's in various cocktails. Basically a Negroni without this is not worth drinking in my book! As well as an original martini, Manhattan, Blood & Sand,
Boulevardier and...and...

I have tried the vermouths you mention and keep coming back to M&R. Just taste.

I also enjoy a Manhattan made with rye whisky, M&R sweet vermouth, and a dash (or two) of Angostura bitters.

I'm not too much into the "without this is not worth drinking" opinion. Tastes are different and there are plenty of good choices out there. I just drink what I like.

I haven't tried Ardbeg Uigeadail, it's on the list now.

A mix 50/50 of a boxed bag of Naked Grape, Shiraz and box bag of Sawmill Creek, Autumn Blush.

A mix that can't be beat.

Saw this at the grocery store today. Good cold, not so good once room temperature.

HEY! my go to favorite (when I'm not experimenting). The 21 is the best I've ever had but who can pay that much! I love the 12, that's a bit more affordable.

Tonight, though, it's Avery's Plankd. Most everything from Avery is good (minus the pumpkin stuff) but Plankd is amazing!!!
