Just wanted to post that if anyone is looking, I found Christmas wrap with Santa and the reindeer on Vespas at Kmart. Very cute! It's part of the Holiday Hullabaloo collection. Last year I found gift bags there, and this year the wrap.

Does anyone else get excited about this, like I do?

Let me know if you see Vespa-type wrap anywhere else, as I am on the hunt.

Just getting started. Open house Tuesday so I am going to be getting it all together in the next day or so. Scooter ornament near the top.... Need a better shot of it, and vintage toy castle with some of the knights I had as a child, (the big ones are Goldmarx from 1964 and the small ones are Crescent knights from 1968. My little brother chewed on a couple, but at least he didn't bury them in the yard. The Angel in top was from my mom and dad's first Christmas together, 1957.

That Scooter decoration is AWESOME!

It is nice seeing the decorations in the colder parts of the world. We're gearing up for a very hot Christmas.

We bought a tree on Sunday. We decided to get a fake one so we could reuse it in future years.

When the box wouldn't fit in the boot, I should have clued in.

We built the tree...

And it was MASSIVE.

It seriously would not fit anywhere in our apartment!! Luckily it wasn't that much taller than my spouse (so it didn't hit the ceilings!) but it is so wide there was absolutely NO WHERE to put it in our apartment.

After 20 minutes of swearing and rejected plans, we now have a beautiful tall bushy Christmas tree on our balcony.

It truly is darling. I'm going to have to get my scooter decorated; I'm going to miss not having the rack on the front of my scooter. It made decorating the scooter so easy.

Like it was in flight and smacked into the scoooter.

I am extremely upset that we don't have room to set up the traditional tree this year, nor the money that the SO is willing to part with to get a small one. So this is what I am using to cope with so far.


Couple of familiars in there, and a little fiber optic USB tree powered by the laptop.

I'm not sure this will suffice for very long. I fear our little potted Norfolk pine may be in danger of attack soon.

here's the tree! it's looking a bit scrappy though. i think the cats may have been chewing on it
