yes, our tree is black. and yes, all the bulbs in the middle are burnt out but we can't figure out how to take off the lights so we hide the empty space with those giant glowing lights.
Have added Tex's Santa on a Vespa to the under the tree decorations.

I finally remembered to take a photo of our tree. It is the top two sections of a 4-section 7-1/2 foot pre-lit tree. Once all the lights died, we just use the top 4 feet on a small table and added our own lights.
