Modern Vespa

This is the first morning that I have driven in this year where the temperature was below freezing all the way. The 20 mile drive is mostly on gritted roads and the Michelin 'city grips' just didn't inspire any confidence.

Does anyone know if there is a specific winter tyre out there ?? (softer compound to warm quicker??)

im going ahead with that and have ordered front and back to go on on monday....

my ride is country and urban,will let you know how they feel...

Here it's Heidenau for winter specific tires. K66 and K58. WOT and high temps will eat them quickly. They are also loud. Great cold weather traction, but do need a bit of a warm up on frozen roadways.

Partial to long lagged swedes here, 39 years and counting.
