In case you folks didn't notice. Bar Italia Classics took the time to revise and update the Vintage Shops/Dealers sticky.

Kara weeded through Wangta's old post, culled the shuttered shops and tried to verify via the internet or phone the rest on the list. Then, she alphabetized the entire thing for easy reference.

That's a shit-ton of work. And, it's really cool to see a vintage shop collect and disseminate that information. The vintage community benefits from their effort... a huge thanks to Bar Italia Classics.

No kidding! How friggin' cool.

With the latest news about NoHo Scooters going out of business, it's a really good time to ask all of you to support your local scooter shop. Yes, you can get parts from eBay or overseas. But your local shop has the expertise and knowledge to go along with it.

In researching the list, I spoke to a great number of shop owners. All were willing to help and were very friendly. One thing several wanted to make very clear is that they don't service Southeast Asian "restorations." That information was offered without provocation. Obviously, all of us shop owners have grown weary of our advice about these hunks of junk falling on deaf ears, over and over.

Anyway, let us know if your local shop is not on the list and we'll add it.
