What happens when you disconnect the butt sensor?

Short answer: Not much.

A red warning light goes on when front suspension is locked. You can not rev the motor beyond idle rpms when the suspencion is locked.

In practice this means that you can turn suspension lock on when coasting to a stop. But you can not take off from a stop without first flipping the suspension switch to off.

Why would you remove the sensor in the first place?? I could only think that this would void the warranty? If you have a problem unlocking the front end there is always the quick unlock procedure....
