I'm not sure this is a new topic as I recall reading about this in another link/forum somewhere but just the same....

I am having a difficult time remembering to turn off my directionals (or "blinkers" as they're some times referred to around these parts) after a L/R turn. Obviously, it doesn't happen all the time and I don't consider myself feeble-brained.

So, is there a solution? Something audible? Something physical (a kick in the kneecap i.e.)? A Harley guy I knw said that his directional turns off after a certain lenghth of time, a sensible solution but Piaggio's to make, perhaps, not ours.

BTW, I asked about finding "my comfort zone" in another post. I'm getting there. I found that as I gradually increase my speeds. the previous, or lower speeds are not so challenging. I'm enjoying the scooter much more now.

There is this article ALL: Loud Turn Signals Save Lives Loud Turn Signals Save Lives, in the Technical Library.

There are also a couple of related projects in the Project Reports section.

I put in a buzzer on my ET4. I am trying to train myself to shut off the turn signal on the MP3, since it is much easier to see the warning light on the Mp3. But I may flunk the training.
