Modern Vespa

Got this with a scoot purchase recently. Odd size (XXXL). New with tag. Previous owner said they bought that size so it would go over his riding gear. I'd say he was a size L typically (likewise). Tried it on, its a little longer and baggier, but the elastic waist area makes it feel smaller than you'd think. Probably closer to XL or XXL (like it makes a big difference ). Anyway, got no use for it and don't know anyone who could use it. $5 postage to the cont U.S.

I have no idea what that thing is for, but it is FABULOUS!

Reminds me of the wind/powder suits that were popular on the ski slopes back in the late 70s to early 80s. Heck my husband has a one piece ski suit from 1990 that looks a whole lot like that but with insulation.

That is what I am thinking too CDwise. This suit will have many awesome functions. From shoveling snow in the winter to maybe a future rally. Ahh yes.... The possibilities are endless....

Parachuting. I can see someone falling from the sky and making a dramatic entrance at the commencement of a rock concert/sporting event with that suit on. Invited or not.

The following are available to collect from me in NW6 (West Hampstead) or I will ship the smaller items to the UK if you are happy to pay the shipping.

All will fit on GT/GTS and other similar models from most years.

1. Chrome Wing mirror (original) from 2007 GTS 250. Originally on RH side but should also fit LH side just with the message on the mirror about objects etc being upside down if on the left.

2. Chrome exhaust shield - few marks but in generally good condition with fixings too.

3. Left and right satin chrome finish plastic legshiled trims. These are the long plastic trims running all along the outside edge of the legshields. They clip on after you remove the glovebox and loosen the foot rest part of the bike. Cannot be shipped due to shape. They are pretty much as new and unused (other than for a few weeks on a new bike and were swapped out).

I was doing some cleaning the other day and came across this,my winter coat. Hardly been worn. Moved here in '99 and it's sat in a rubbermaid tub. It's a men's L. I got it when i went in 1995 to the ABQ ballon festival. Free to a good home It probably needs to be dry cleaned. Great memories so i'd hate to just throw it away. Deserves a good home. Might keep you warm on a cold ride. I'll pay the shipping. PM me if you want it. Sorry about the sideways pic

I wore this helmet for a short while, but then, I did not.
It has been stored for about four+ years.
It has never been dropped, spindled or mutilated.
It is a big XL.

I don't know what the surface materials are made of, they are just those modern Italian substances - who knows?
The red part seems leather like, and the silver parts are soft touch.
Like I said, who knows?

The white checkers are retro-reflective stickers I applied.
They can be removed if you would like to do so, but they are cool.

I am sorry that some of the photos are rubbish but my iPad doesn't have a flash and I am not good with it anyhow-it is like trying to take a picture using a book.
