On the block this evening is one original Corazzo 5.0 jacket in size XL. As you can see from the pictures, some of the patches that I affixed have come loose, leaving fabric glue on the jacket itself. All remaining patches stay with the jacket.

All armor is intact and accounted for.

Free to the first claimant within the US of A willing to pay UPS standard rates for shipping.
I'll take the jacket if you still got it, Jess.
FYI:
First to PM claims it, replying to a post doesn't.

FYI, even if this were true (and why should it be???), a mensch would communicate it via PM, not in an open post on the thread.

This is why we can't have nice things!

Unless I am miss understanding you, here are just a few issues using replying to posts as a way to claim an item is a bad idea.

What if the person that posts the item, doesn't come back and look for replies?

If I post something, I don't want to have to come back and look to see if anyone wants it.

Once there are pages of posts going back and looking for replies would be a night mare.

That was two seconds of thinking it through.

This seems unnecessarily harsh to me, particularly considering essentially the same sentiment was posted twice in this thread already. I read it as a reminder, albeit perhaps a bit presumptuous.

If you haven't done so already, it's probably a good idea to PM him directly.

Yeah first PM and subsequent agreement gets it right? Maybe add to the op? Or maybe I missed something...in any case I will have a post soon. Great original idea Jim and kudos to Jess for seeing the value and starting this on the modern side.

If I had to guess, I would guess that Trep wasn't the one that gave you negative karma. Besides, a single vote can't make a post go negative all by itself.

So, why would someone negative that post? If it takes more than one, I get dinged for any post I make now I guess.

I think it's fairly obvious why you get dinged.

Clarification
I should start by saying that I agree, my response to the comment was overly harsh. I apologize.

My only defense (and it is admitedly a weak one), is that on so altruistic a thread as this, it struck me as churlish to try to impose a 'rule' that, up to that point, had only been a suggestion.

It really felt TO ME that someone had come along and tried to impose themselves as umpire in the first innocent pick-up neighborhood baseball game of the springtime.

Sorry if I'm not expressing myself well.

Oh, and for the sake of full disclosure, yes, I admit I did give you negative karma; something which I think my 'bias' bears out I seldom do. But I have thought better of it, and removed the thumbs down.

It isn't that I feel the post didn't deserve it. I just don't want to be guilty of being punitive, when all I really meant to do was convey that an altruistic, innocent gesture such as this thread shouldn't require a referee.
