the view from south florida shows no signs of vespa life in hawaii, but the earth curves a lot.

I was in Kona two weeks ago and saw 4 vespas, two being ridden by locals. So there must be some scene there. Which island is Vespa-Au-Go-Go on?

How could there NOT be a scene there, its always perfect riding weather!

actually, not really... it rains pretty often in hawaii, but I think there are many people that have scooters in Hawaii, since, well... everything is more expensive in hawaii, well... exept for pinapples.

good news! i will soon have a black lx150!!! i went to cycle city today and worked out a deal - $800 down, $197/mo for 24 months. the black lx is on kauai right now, it's the only black one for sale in the state, so they're gonna ship it here over the weekend...should be here by monday or tuesday. i can't wait.

Thanks JimBo there are updates. First i want to apologize for not thanking everyone for their thoughtful comments. I saw the date i responded. That was the day after i got back and i have to say the WORST case of jetlag i've ever had I barely remember anything from that wk I bought a new LX150 from scooterbobby in santa barbara. He rocks. I was planning to do the road to hana getting to maui via the superferry. However maui won;t let them land So hopefully all we be right with the ferry gods and we;ll be able to do a camp and scoot the outer islands next yr. I hope to get on some rides with some of the new hawaiians and cookouts are always happening at my place. I know it seems corny cuz we have alot of scooters on island but not so many vespa's. Keep em coming
