Another issue going on currently.

Came home the other day, reached down to apply the parking brake, when I pulled it I felt something "snap" and then there was no tension on the parking brake lever. Checked the parking brake itself at the rear tire, and it was not engaged.

I've got the front end skinned down and the cable seems to still be intact on the front end at the lever and at the brake end. So, any thoughts about where it might be going wrong? It looks to me that I may need to remove all of the plastic underneath the bike to see what is happening between the lever and brake. Is there a weak point under there?

They tend to break mid-way, where water can get trapped accelerating corrosion. Replace.
