Hello, all. I'm still a fairly recent addition to the scootering family but in the past couple of months I've still managed to put on over 2000 miles on my LX. It seems like Colorado roads have not been kind to my baby, as when I put it in the garage today I noticed that the left rear turn signal was hanging by the wires! It looks like the part where the screw attached it to the body completely broke off! I can't go and take it in to get fixed until saturday (I checked and it still works fine) but I can't exactly leave it like that either. Should I just hold it on with some duct tape?

Duct tape sounds good as a for-now solution
I'd go for it. Just try to stay below 200 mph, you'll be good for a few days.

Duct tape is like The Force. It has a light side, a dark side and it binds the universe together.

Here's the damage. I've got a strip of tape over the broken corner so you can still see the majority of the light.

That's not really repairable, but did find a replacement for you...$38

Yes i over filled but mine took a bit longer to crack. It does look like gas was spilled around there. Didn't realize that the gas gauge didn't work nor did i think you could fly a scooter here with a full tank of gas. That's what i get for not looking into the gas tank. It's easy to change out and the that one is cheaper than the brake light. Brake light housing was around $70 i think and that wasn't with shipping. Good luck
