I got my '59 VBA running this weekend and realized I have no idea how to stop it, other than turning the fuel tap off, or putting it in gear to kill it. What is the right way to do it?

There's a mess of switches on the handlebar but none of them did the trick. Honestly I have no idea what any of them do. Should one of these do it?
