Hi there, I'm in the middle of removing my steering column on a 1981 p125x, I have taken of the top face and have come to the steering head locknut (the funny round one) and it won't budge.... I tried wd40, grips and chisel as recommended but it won't budge. Any ideas?

Thanks

I always used a big screwdriver and a hammer until I had access to one of these:

Your local bicycle shop has something similar to that if you aren't near a classic scooter shop or you can't wait for shipping.

I lucked out & found the right size one of these 'hook wrenches' in the tool box of a dead scooter I got recently. Beats hammer & screwdriver every time on stubborn ones, well worth getting! Also try a little heat with the penetrating oil but be careful of the plastic stuff nearby.

PS 50/50 acetone & ATF actually does work better than PB Blaster( which I also use sometimes).
