Modern Vespa

I just received my Admore Mini Light Bar and perused MV for advice on how to properly install it on my MP3 250 with a Piaggio 48L top case.

I have no problem fastening it to the top case mount. However, from there on, I am lost.

My questions are as follows...

1. Where do I run the Admore cable? Do I have to drill a hole somewhere to get it into the storage compartment?

2. Where exactly do I connect the Admore colored cables? I looked under the right side of my scooter and saw a lot of wiring. I do see the fuse box and wonder if that's where I connect the cable.

I wish someone would post a how-to video. Maybe one exists? If so, I would love to see it.

Here's how I did mine:

After removing the left light assembly I tapped into the 4 pin connector to the light assembly. If memory serves, Black for ground, white for brake, red for left turn and yellow for positive (note: colours may be different on your bike, so use a continuity tester to make sure). I then removed the right light assembly and ran a short wire around the rear for the right turn tapping into the white/blue wire. I'm sure I could have tapped into a different wire on the left side as that is where the relay is, but this seemed the easiest way without removing the side panel.

I used an existing hole behind the backrest to route the cable inside. I believe on the other side (in the trunk) there was a rubber grommet that I poked a hole into and ran the cable through. I then routed the cable into the side panel were all the brake wires are.
