Glad it made it there safely. I hope you didn't have to pay any taxes on it.
If I happen to find anymore license plates on the ground I'll send them your way! Laughing emoticon

I'll take a look next time I go to the antique shop. They have a few boxes of them. Most are Indiana but there are others mixed in. Does it matter if they are a few decades old?

Hi - thanks for the reply - I think the older the better to be honest - it seems to add a sense of "realism" if that makes any sense at all - The dents and dings give them so much character!

Thanks in advance

How much does it cost to ship an old plate to England from the USA?

I think I have a couple New York motorcycle plates out in the garage, I'd have to check the years but know they are not that old maybe 1990 or more likely early 2000's Think they were the ones off either my XS400 or XS650.

So, I got this with a replacement tail panel for my '87 Honda Elite S project. It's on you want list, but it is a moped tag. Interested?

Are PTW plates the same dimensions as car plates?

Moped/scooter/motorcycle plates tend to run a fair bit smaller. This one is 180mm x 100mm.

Might not be a bad idea to go for MC plates as well. There are a lot of options out there and I'm sure the good folks here have at least one MC plate around.

PS, thank you for the karma! You tripped my third full rondel.
