i'm not getting many email notifications of active "replied to" threads.
is there a freshness/dated sticker i'm missing?

Which threads, specifically?

a thread i started. if i hadn't made the effort to look backwards on it, i would have missed the bluecloud reply about things needing tightening to specs.
not really a complaint, but it just seems like i'm not getting many notices of replies to threads i'm following. i'm sure your NSA powered 'know what browser/OS, etc" i'm using is available to you... i'll furnish anything else you might need, not under duress and not under threat of WBing...

Any chance the emails are hitting your spam folder, either on your desktop or at your mail server? We don't actually record any of that kind of information on member-by-member basis, so no, I don't have that. However, I don't think browser or OS should matter here, as none of them are involved in the sending or receiving of the notification emails.

Any thread that is truly important to me is saved as a favorite, or I take the personal responsibility to monitor it. Give all the features we're blessed with, expecting notifications without monitoring seems like expecting a hand holding. Just my view.

I know, I know, I have learned to not place responsibility for notices on the notification system. Also no expectations. It's safer for me to take responsibility for myself especially when it's important to me. Just a suggestion. You'll never miss an important post again with that attitude. FWIW.
