I came home from getting my scooter's speedo cable repaired, and couldn't find one of my dogs.
Then I heard a noise from under the La-Z-Boy ...

Aw...so cute...was he/she stuck?
A cat we once had had disappeared for week or so. Just for the heck of it I checked under the shed in the back yard with a flashlight one night. There he was...stuck. I had to reach under there and pull with some force to get him out. He was none the worse for wear except a bit thinner. |

You get extra points for getting your camera/phone out for a photo before "releasing the hound!"

She probably wedged herself in there because dogs do weird stuff like that. Then she heard you come home and figured she could get some fussing and attention out of you. Cute pup.

Awww!
I've been in that situation a lot more lately, myself. My chihuahua is 16 years old next month, and she sleeps a lot. She sleeps a lot deeper than she used to. So now, if she decides to curl up in a "nest" somewhere she doesn't normally do so, I can't find her. Calling her doesn't do much good unless she's awake. |

Witch,
Maya is getting up there in age too. She's 14. She has her bad days, but her good days still far outweigh the days that we have to dose her up with Metacam and coddle her with a warm lap and a blanket. Taking a second look at the photo, I can see she is in need a of a nail trim! I'll have to get on that. |

Awwww. Winston is too big to wedge himself anywhere. But Fred.... The first full day I had him we had a storm that evening. I couldn't find him and was afraid he sneaked out into the hallway. But nooooooooo, he wasn't there. Then I realized that Winston's dog bed was not in the usual space. Hmmmmm???? And THEN I heard some rustling in my closet. The storm scared little Fred and he had dragged Winston's bed into my clothes closet and was hiding under the bottoms of my coats. His wagging tail gave him away. Gotta love 'em
