Just a heads up for anyone who has been debating purchase of the Akrapovic slip-on exhaust. Revzilla has it on sale right now - $454 for the stainless, and $508 for the black.

... There is one less black exhaust available in their inventory

Not to detract from your excitement, but I think that's a standard discount.

On the other hand, hey, cool exhaust!

And the $20 in Zillacash doesn't hurt either.....Enjoy!!

Good on you! finally!

I like that you actually do the stuff you intend to, as opposed to Bonkers. Who will never see this dig so I'm not sure why I'm doing it.

How in hell can they justify a price of $500 for the muffler on a motor scooter???

I guess that if they can get people to pay that much, they might as well charge that much.

Is it supposed to do anything other than soak up some of the noise and carry the hot exhaust gases away from the brake line?

Because of the enormous performance gains. Razz emoticon Clown emoticon

Really though I love mine. Came off a crashed MP3 and was slightly damaged and I got it for a song. It sounds great and makes tire changes a snap.

It's really an easy formula that I believe Einstein figured out back in 1984...

Black + Carbon = Performance

The formula was strongly rooted on another theory that I do not believe has been proven...

Stickers = Performance

But it was Maslow who put Akrapoivc exhausts at the very top of his Hierarchy of Needs.

I called indysuperbike.com last week to check on this amazing deal, and they told me that while they are a supplier for the Vespa exhaust, they currently do not keep it in their inventory. It would be 3-4 weeks for delivery.

Patience is a virtue for sure...
I called them to, but at the right time.
They told me 1-2 weeks and I got it in a week!!
Worth the savings to wait a little for sure.
Plus I did it in March when there was still snow on the ground around here so it didn't matter.

they don't justify, the consumer does.

Why do folks paint the scoots with high dollar paint jobs?

Why does a Mercedes cost more than a Ford Focus?

Why isn't all bourbon the same?

Why do you live in a bigger house?
