Hello, I just recently broke the yellow shell on the left front indicator on my 03 model, Vespa ET2. There is half of it left and the indicator still works fine, any advice on how to take the old one off to put on a new indicator cover?
Also how easy is this task?

+ On testing the indicator the light does not come on for both the front and back left indicator and the signal on the dashboard flashes quickly and repeatedly while it is on.

You have to remove the glovebox cover to get to the screw that holds the indicator in place.

Not too difficult - in fact, it's really easy (once you've done it a couple of times!). One screw behind the horn-cover (which is, itself, retained by one screw behind the badge) and three screws within the glovebox...

Hardest part is putting it back on - you have to get the glovebox operating lever in behind the ignition switch barrel (observe through the horncover).

Indicator indicator is flashing fast because a bulb has blown either front or back, but probably front... Make sure you use an orange bulb if the indicator has a white lens and a clear bulb if the indicator glass is orange...

It took me a hour to change the indicator but it was a success thank you for the help, here is the removed left indicator (left picture) and the fitted new light (right picture)
Also putting on the glovebox wasn't as tricky as I thought it would be as it all slotted back fairly easily.
