I just got a Fly and love the ride. I was looking at the turn signals which were added for US DOT certification. I was thinking of relocating these where they should be and remove the current turn signal stalks. This would smooth the lines out nicely.

So here are my observations and questions.
Front: Looks like the bulbs are installed , which means that most likely I only need to extend and connect the exiting wires to the existing bulbs.

Back: It looks like the light assembly has the bulb holders in place. I do not know if these are wired or just place holders. I would also be interested to know if the bulbs from current back turn signals would would work on (fit) the empty locations. Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure where you live, but some places require a vehicle inspection to renew the tag. If you remove the DOT required blinkers you'll more than likely fail the inspection and not be able to renew the registration for it. I'd check into that. Also consider it if you plan on moving or selling it in the future. As for the original topic, I have no idea

no motorcycle inspection once it is registered. If vehicle sold all these are reversible if needs to.

Let us know if you find anything out. I want to do the same mod to my Fly. I'll be at Motorsports next week and will ask them if it's possible and fairly straight forward.

will do. Probably will have no time until the weekend but will look into it. But the way can you check on your rear light fixture if you only have the places for the blinkers but no bulbs. It seems interesting that in the front they have the fixture and the bulb but in the back only the fixture....
