I missed the mention of the Threads I Have Posted to mark on the forum page. In Excel it marks a comment in a cell and is in the upper right corner.

That's a nice add-on.

More interesting is that it doesn't mark threads that I have started. That's either a nice piece of logic or I'm completely off base.

I really like that as well. Instead of getting a reply on every thread I have ever posted on, and totally clog up my in box in the process, I can now look down the list and see the ones I have thought enough of to comment in the past. Very nice and I can make an informed choice when I don't have time and when I am in browse mode. Thanks to whoever thought of this!

That's on purpose. It's a minor semantic difference, to be sure. I might in the future implement a different marker to indicate a thread that you've started, perhaps a tab of a different color.

It's not like it's difficult to see threads that I've started. It's only a few inches away. But visual cues are often easier to understand. A thousand words and all.

Just to be clear, though: once you reply to a topic that you've started, that tab will also show up.

I noticed that, but thought that quoting myself twice was just too much.

Jess

I like it - I always think that very visual things are the best

The principles of Genchi Genbutsu and Kanban - are based around the very idea that visual is best - and I use both a lot at work.

Props to you.
