I believe that is Pigeon Point Lighthouse, not far from me and I've gone by it and stopped there many times over the years. It's a nice spot, especially if the winds aren't too strong. Sounds like a great trip.

Halloween is approaching here in Southern Oregon... and out in the streets of the local towns, the Calaveras, skeletons and assorted Monsters are coming out to stake their claims.

The picture isn't great, but the canvas was spectacular. Sunrise in west Tennessee.

Some unexpected snow cut short my walk in the hills today.
I did catch this little fella though.

I often stop by the ocean on my bike ride home. Yesterday, I saw this wildfire emerging. It's about 25 miles away. It's still uncontrolled and burnt about 60 acres in about 24 hours.

I also saw a Dolphin pod of about 12 individuals feeding just offshore. I usually only see them about once a year. Got a a few shots on a video but they were relatively small in the frame so I won't bother posting them here.

Thanks Steve, apparently we have more in common than rural Pennsylvania. I took my drivers test in 1971, one day after I turned 16. Not in a Volkswagen but my mom's 1968 Javelin SST with 4 speed manual.
