Wow from me too! There are some really great phtographers here.. some amazing pictures! Well done!!!
I'm not much of a photographer, but I find myself playing with iphone apps quite a bit.. and I'm amazed at what you can dig out of the little lens and sensor... I was surprised at the detain on the lamp in this iphone shot in China Town SF... I think I probably overdid it with about 15 different filters, but I think you can make good pics with the iphone and some of the pretty cool apps... if you don't overdo it that is.

Today I took my new GTS300ie Super out for a ride, but on my way home just off route 13, I got caught in this quick afternoon thunderstorm shower.
I stop and took this beautiful picture of the rainbow.

I dunno why, but I just love when old people wear current pro sports hats. My grandmother used to have a Detroit Lions hat she'd wear every now and then. Looked ridiculous at times, yes, but oh so endearing.

Two from a recent trip

Nice bit of artwork, Vader19. I really like this one. Most of the talent was in recognizing an original that could conjure up certain feelings, then cropping it accordingly. The editing with apps reinforced what you saw from the beginning.

I haven't been posting much lately. My month started off real crappy, but its been getting better. To be honest, I know this is going to be my 666th post and I was going to save it for some silly evil. But I just can't keep waiting for something to come up. So, I present to you some pictures from Hawaii. It's ok to be jealous. 8)

HWY 1 north of Fort Bragg, about a mile south of where it turns inland. I was heading south.

These are two of my favorite pics. A black 63 Jag with a chrome mirror under a striped tent at Elkhart Lake vintage races and my favorite place a sunset cruise in Key West . 8)

BVEE, that mirror shot is just fantastic! Being in the right place at the right time and knowing what to look for is what good photography is all about.
It appears that this thread is going to last for some time, the pics are getting better and better! While scouring through my collection of photos, I find that some that I like the best are due to the memories they bring, rather than their aesthetic value and so don't really belong in this thread. I'll keep looking!
