Helped get this 80s P200 with a dope disk brake conversion to her new home yesterday.

Arrived in Milan yesterday totally jet lagged. Wandered around lovely Cuneo looking for lunch and found this! Then found the pasta.

Tomorrow starts a 10 day cycling trip around Piemonte. Much more pasta and wine to follow. Looking for a Vespa to ride up the steeper roads.

10 days of cycling around hilly Piemonte with a group of 12. I have seen many Vespa's here but more less expensive Yamaha's, etc.

Lovely place filled with nice people. Good food and wine.

Summer monsoon season means late afternoon clouds, and the occasional rainbow. We don't get a ton of rain in the shadow of the Sierra Nevada, but when it does sprinkle and the sun is setting, we get some nice rainbows in the Owens Valley. Took this while walking the dog out behind the house...

I've never bike in Italy. Did you take your won bikes or rent them?

We have cycled in Italy once before. A company with a van supplies good road bikes and takes our luggage between hotels every 2-3 days and suggests safe routes and good places for meals and coffee.

It was a Bank Holiday here in the UK today, so time for a bit of late summer maintenance with the help of 2 felines.

This is in our yard. It's made of Redwood, Onyx, Mahogany, stone and concrete. The onyx is lit at night. I built this about 4 or 5 years ago. Miguel

For decades, I worked in all the building that surround this now non-functional water tower originally built circa 1906 that supplied water to the Libby Fruit factory in Sunnyvale California (Silicon Valley) that occupied the site. Not my photo.

10th September 2022. The Union flag flies at full mast over Lancaster Castle for the accession to the throne of the new monarch, HRH King Charles lll. Following the ceremony, the flag will later be lowered and flown at half mast until after the state funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth ll.

It was taken by our daughter, Kylie, through the rental car windshield on a drive to our friend's farmhouse near Monbiel, Switzerland, six years ago.

It shows off that beautiful alpine country well.

Here are some pictures I took during our club's anniversary meet. Even with flash flood warnings for later in the day, we had over 30 riders that came to celebrate with us. The ride itself was dry, but I'm sure many of us didn't get home without a little rain.

I know at one time the flights were priced really well.

Side story. In Portugal and Western Spain there are cork
forests. Obviously uninformed me, I did not know there
are cork trees. I was traveling cheap in my Fiat 500 camping
at night. We stopped in a forest to camp. I still had those
big bottles of Germain beer. I threw an empty bottle at
a near by tree. Holy crap batman, it bounced back at me
over my head. Stupid is as stupid does, "forest Gump".
