I was just laughing with a friend the other day how there just aren't to many barns left out there for there to be many more 'barn finds'. He said, 'oh people will start finding the stuff stashed away in basements or back rooms, heck maybe with a ton of parts they planed on restoring them with'.

Awesome find, that's exactly what I'm looking for! 125 in orange, just the right amount of patina. Excellent score!

out of the paint booth
Exciting news.....
Yesterday, I received word from my painter the 66 Blue Badge 150 is about to be available for pick up. Yeah! This journey has been long one. It began March 2012 with it's arrival from Indy. I posted pics in the "Projects" section of dis-assembly and replacement of major floor damage and other tid-bits. By fall 2012, it was ready for the final paint. But, the painter had too many Harleys in front of me. Finally, this past May 1st, I delivered the dusty girl to the paint shop. Now, I'll be posting sporadic pics in the "Project" section again....re-assembly! BTW, I do have a surprise pic to post.....? Happy trails today..... |

Nice looking scoot! I'd like to find a pre 1972 script badge Primavera eg. without the turn signals.
I see that it has a battery side door, does it run a battery regulator/rectifier? Congrats on the find. |

We were wondering that also...
It looks like it has the battery strap hook. There's also a little plastic gray box in there, that is like a junction box with a couple of fuses in there. I'll try to get my brother to post a pic... oct |
