Wish I could make it, but I'm out of town that day.

The patch is not specific to a year, and there will be year rocker patches that surround the patch. Quite a few details to still sort out but if you have completed the challenge in the past, it would be a good idea to review and document what years. Here's a preview (without the rockers): Oh well! |

Awesome looking patches! Thanks for making them, Jess.
I may not make it to the end this time -- my wife will be riding pillion this year and we're just going to see how far we get and not push it. But I can hopefully score a patch eventually with last year's rocker. -Dan |

I'm a 99.99% likelihood of no-show on this one, but I have a very good reason.
Hopefully you guys have fun, and who knows, maybe I"ll be able to make it up to Tam to just say hi with my little bear. |

Hey Guys. I saw this posted on Facebook and wanted to get in on the fun. Any problems if I come on a Kymco Grandvista? I'd be headed over from Marin so if anyone wants to ride together that would great. Hope to see you guys Sat.

Isn't everyone at Tam at around 3something?
I might actually be able to sneak up there and shoot on West Ridgecrest. heh. Making arrangements. Might be me and my daughter as my assistant. |

Ideally, any one of the people on this thread who have my cell phone would text as they leave Walnut Creek, richmond, whatever. But I think 3 is generally normal...

A huge VCLG thank you to everyone who came out for the ride.
Weather was perfect and I think there were no mishaps. I hope the ride lived up to its billing, it always does for me. Really enjoyed the day with a hard core group. The smiles on Mt Tam were genuine. Until next year, R |

ZOMG I am home, tired, spent, happy, and working on my second glass of wine. This ride was harder than I remember it. Maybe I'm just getting old.
Also, about the patches: I seem to be short a couple of address cards, compared to the amount of money I collected. This probably means that someone bought a patch without giving me an address card for their to-be-mailed rocker(s). If you don't remember filling out a card and handing it to me, please PM me. So nice to see so many friendly faces from the past and present on this ride. A big shout-out to Matt and Linda and Kevyn for coming all this way for this great ride. |

Heh. Here are Casey's.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/oz_lang/sets/72157634924641896/ I will get mine up as soon as I set up my other computer (which is the only one capable of opening the files out of my DSLR right now). Some surprisingly good work by the little girl... she says she wants to be a photographer now. Most of us having breakfast at Zamora's. Naturally, this is the ONLY pic I took that day as I wasn't riding, but it's still nice to see everyone coming together so early.

3 Peaks
What a great day. The weather was pleasant and the turn out fantastic. I don't know if there is a bike count but it had to be in the 20s. Lauren did a great job leading a large group up to Mt Diablo. Oddly enough Mt Tam was hotter this year than Diablo. There was a small fender bender but no casualties. It was great having the Quinns and Matt from NY here for the adventure. It seemed to be there was more gravel on the roads this time. Apologies to Lee for throwing so much rock at you. I will invest in a mud flap before next year
I look forward to seeing all of you again next year |
