Changed my oil for the first time on my LX150.... since the demise of my nearest dealer had to switch to Toro products to survive.

I went to Ehow just to see.....

They recommend 5/8 of a qt of SAE30 oil, and don't specify any model

Yikes!

Go to the Wiki section. I believe there may be a video or two on changing the oil demonstrated on a 150. They might make mention of what oil is used.

I eventually settled on Shell Rotella T6 Full Synth 5W40.
You can usually get it at a decent price at Wally World. It usually comes in a 1 gallon container so you'll have more than you need, but it keeps.

Here a link to the Vespa manuals: http://www.wotmeworry.org.uk/manuals/

You can find more of these provided by Jimc, but the one for your scooter should be in this group.

(Sorry for the hijack, just need to get some forum business out of the way)

Wayne -- On the off chance you're reading this, I have a message for you. Your reply here is a perfect example of how not to behave on MV. I think by now you should probably know what the boundaries are, and what we will accept and what we won't. Thus, you're not getting any more chances. The next time you behave even a little bit abrasive on this forum, I will personally make a point of kicking you out very publicly, and you will never, ever post on this forum again.

I hope that's clear.

(We now return to our regularly scheduled thread).
