i hope & pray for a Tsunami to cover up the hot spots in indonesia.its water that can defeat the fire.

It the wildfire subsides. Was it a wildfire or a controlled burn getting out of control?

Are there other culprits to the conditions you encounter day to day? Industrial emissions (?)...perhaps not so much in Singapore but neighboring countries.

I thought they were burning the forests illegally to clear cut so they can grow palms for the palm oil industry.

Annual fires to clear forest land has been going on in Indonesia for a long long time. My husband was stuck for extra days when he was there 15 years go because the monsoons were late and the fires burned down into the peat. Ex-pats were evacuated by their companies because of the heavy metal being released by the burning peat. From what I've been hearing this year is another bad year for the fires there. Hopefully the rains will come and put them out.

Still hazy in KL but less so than Sunday and Monday. No rain in sight.
