http://motorcycle-rack.com/MFWT.html

I found these online and I know by reading this it says small wheels will not work I assumed that is for this specific unit but has anyone ever towed their scooter using something like this.

for my knowledge I assume the only issue may be speeds to high for a vespa and the small 10" wheels BUT i drive and will tow with a Land rover Defender which is as slow if not slower than my vespa.

any recopmendations I was hoping to build one of these

thanks

I'm not even sure that I would use one of those in an emergency. I reckon it would be just too easy for it to slip or bump into gear. Probably not so bad for a motorcycle.

What about this type?

I've seen lots of people use the second one. I saw a guy haul a Stella and a modern LX from easy Texas to North Texas without any issues.

I'd be afraid of messing something up with the first one.

Damn I thought my defenders roof rack would come in good use. and i think I can get like 3 scooters on the top

Would require a fairly longer ramp with my rack sitting at 2.15m above the ground also make sure we do not drive under any low bridges but all in all I think I am going to scrap both the above ideas

Hahaha
If set up right he could put his scooter on his top with pulleys. It'd be a very steep ramp.Long ramp?I just thought I'd throw all this in.

I like a small utility trailer, 6x4 from Northern Tools $500 and it does o much more - it makes your sedan a pick up.
